When should I place my garbage cart out by the curb?

What cannot be placed in my garbage cart?
Certain items are prohibited from disposal in garbage carts or dumpster rentals. These include tires, hot ashes, appliances, televisions, computers, fluorescent bulbs, asbestos, recyclables, oil filters, batteries, animal carcasses, and hazardous waste.
