  • When should I place my garbage cart out by the curb?

    Please ensure your cart is placed at the curb on the evening before your scheduled pickup day. For inquiries about garbage services or dumpsters, please contact Southwest Sanitation Inc.

  • If my regular delivery date falls on a holiday, when do you pickup?

    For holiday pickup schedules, please refer to our schedule page by selecting the plus sign below. We offer a range of services including waste management, porta potty rentals, and additional options to meet your needs.

  • What cannot be placed in my garbage cart?

    Certain items are prohibited from disposal in garbage carts or dumpster rentals. These include tires, hot ashes, appliances, televisions, computers, fluorescent bulbs, asbestos, recyclables, oil filters, batteries, animal carcasses, and hazardous waste. For a comprehensive list, please consult our residential service page. It's worth noting that, according to the Los Angeles Times, the United States generates over 624,000 metric tons of waste daily.   • What is the best way to reach customer service?

    Our local, onsite customer service team is easy to reach! Contact us by email info@southwestsanitation.net or call 507-532-4500. You can also submit an inquiry on our website by clicking “request quote” and our team will reach out to you.

  • Can I pay my bill online?

    Yes! On the center of our homepage, click Pay Bill. You can utilize our online portal to make one-time payments or sign up for our auto-pay option.

  • Can my invoice/statement be emailed instead of mailed?

    Yes! You can switch to paperless billing by emailing info@southwestsanitation.net or calling 507-532-4500. You can also change your billing options by accessing your online account where you pay your bill online.

  • How do I transfer my service to a new address?

    To transfer service, please call our office at 507-532-4500 and our customer service team can assist you.

  • How do I report a damaged cart or container?

    Please contact our customer service team by emailing info@southwestsanitation.net or calling 507-532-4500. We will send someone out to fix or replace your container!

  • When is my payment due?

    All payments are due on the 20th of the month. If you have questions on due dates, please contact us to discuss other options!

  • How do I dispose of bulk items, appliances, or electronics?

    We offer drop off at our Marshall MN office and pickup of bulk items, appliances, or electronics. Please contact our customer service team by emailing info@southwestsanitation.net or calling 507-532-4500 to schedule any extra services we offer!
